On To Victory
As you’ve probably heard by now, last week an article in a tabloid publication made a number of false allegations about me.
Since then, I’ve received an outpouring of supportive messages from family, friends and supporters, and it really means a lot to me – I wish I had time to respond to every message so you know how much I truly appreciate it.
Yesterday, I appeared on CNN’s The Situation Room for a conversation with Wolf Blitzer to set the record straight about those allegations and the false reporting about me that has persisted over the past… Continue reading
Appearance on CNN’s The Situation Room
Yesterday I appeared on CNN’s The Situation Room for a conversation with Wolf Blitzer to set the record straight about the false allegations and false reporting about me that has persisted over the past few days. I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch this and then share it with your family and friends – particularly those of you who I’m honored to have the support of in Pinal County and Arizona’s 4th Congressional District. Thank you.
Today’s Press Conference
Yesterday, a tabloid article made a number of false allegations about me. Only one was true: I’m gay. Today, I held a press conference to discuss this. I want to be judged on my service: 20 years in the military, two deployments – including one in Iraq, a police officer who has responded to thousands of calls for help, and a Sheriff who has cut response times while reducing my own budget. I hope you will stand with me as we talk about the issues that matter: securing our border and ending the record debt and deficit spending that… Continue reading
It’s time to send a true conservative to Washington, DC
The assault on our country, our constitution and our freedom coming from Washington, DC is unacceptable.
In Arizona, our legislature passed Senate Bill 1070 – to enforce the laws the Federal government won’t enforce – and the Federal government’s solution is to sue our state rather than simply enforcing immigration laws.
Then the Federal government put up signs in Pinal County – which isn’t even a border county but is still the #1 pass through county for drug and human smuggling – warning people to not travel through the area because it is too dangerous. Again, they do this rather… Continue reading

It’s time for a new Sheriff in Washington
Today I announce my candidacy for the United States House of Representatives in Arizona’s new 4th Congressional District.
As a first responder, I’m trained to run toward dangers that others run away from. Right now, the biggest threats facing our country are from Washington. We have record debt and deficit spending, the biggest intergenerational theft in the history of the world. We have a system that punishes job creators and leaves many millions unemployed. We have an unsecured border that allows the drug cartels to operate freely in our country, and results in 400,000 illegal crossings into our state every… Continue reading
Merry Christmas!
Friends,
I want to take a moment to wish you a Merry Christmas. I hope you have the chance to spend it with family and your loved ones.
It’s been an incredible year and 2012 promises many new challenges and opportunities. I’m so grateful for friends like you, who have helped in ways you can’t even imagine. Your support means the world to me, and I want to say ‘thank you.’
I’m also grateful to God that we live in the greatest, freest country in the history of the world. I’m also grateful for the people who help… Continue reading
Interceptors: An NRA Life of Duty Feature Film
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office recently had the honor of being the subject of a short feature film, Interceptors, produced as part of the NRA Life of Duty “Patriot Profiles” series. This film does an excellent job of highlighting the challenges we face here in Pinal County because of our unsecured border.
Over the next couple weeks, while you’re with family and friends for the holidays, I encourage you to spend 20 minutes watching and discussing this issue with them. I really want to hear your feedback – please leave a comment on Facebook or Twitter… Continue reading
Money Laundering vs Failed ‘Fast and Furious’
I appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 last night to talk about how money laundering operations differ from what happened during the failed Operation Fast and Furious. Watch here.
Operation Fast and Furious Update
The Obama administration continues to stonewall the people over “Fast and Furious.” Now they’ve sealed the court records of our fallen Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, murdered with a gun his own government transferred to the enemy.
Sealing Brian Terry’s record but leaking confidential information on whistleblowers–this is par for the course with this administration.
Listen to my recent interview with Cam Edwards from NRANews.com for an update.
