Sheriff Babeu leads all Arizona House candidates with $263,302; Also leads with $240,664 banked in Quarter 4

Despite a 68 day exploratory committee without a final district, Sheriff Paul Babeu led all Arizona House candidates in fundraising as well as money netted in Quarter 4.

“I’m incredibly humbled by this overwhelming support,” Sheriff Babeu said. “I rely on the support of ordinary people giving sacrificially, people who are deeply concerned about the direction of our country. Together I know we can get America back on track.”

Sheriff Paul Babeu holds strong lead in two polls

Two polls conducted in the past week show a commanding lead for Sheriff Paul Babeu in Arizona’s 4th Congressional District.

Public Opinion Strategies conducted a survey of likely voters for the Babeu campaign, to determine their choice for Congress. The results were as follows:

Paul Babeu – 31%
Paul Gosar – 23%
Ron Gould – 19%

Of those who “definitely” know their choice, Babeu has double the support of both Gould and Gosar.

Definitely Paul Babeu – 21%
Definitely Paul Gosar – 12%
Definitely Ron Gould – 10%

Arizona Sheriffs Demand Special Counsel to Investigate Attorney General Eric Holder and the Department of Justice for Roles in Operation Fast & Furious

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu and nine other elected Sheriffs from across Arizona held a Press Conference today regarding “Operation Fast and Furious.”

Sheriff Paul Babeu, President of the Arizona Sheriffs Association, announced that the gathering of Arizona’s elected Sheriffs is equally represented with five Democrats and five Republicans. “This is not a partisan issue, but a serious public safety issue that threatens the safety of our citizens and our deputies. Our own federal government has armed the very cartels that our law enforcement are fighting with on a daily basis.”

Sheriff Paul Babeu Recognized by the “Arizona Capitol Times” as “2011 Public Safety Official of the Year”

On Tuesday, September 27, 2011, Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu attended the “2011 Arizona Capitol Times Leaders of the Year in Public Policy Award Luncheon.” The luncheon was held at the Phoenix Wyndham Hotel. At the luncheon, Sheriff Babeu was recognized as their “2011 Public Safety Official of the Year.”

The annual “Leaders in Public Policy Awards and Presentation” celebrates outstanding individuals and organizations for their professional and civic involvement.
